Along various witnesses of Prussian transport and construction technology, the 8.5 km long main axis of the themed hiking route leads from the Umweltbahnhof
Bullay via the first double bridge (1877) in Germany for vehicles and trains, over to the Marienburg, past the mighty
railway viaduct (1880) from Pünderich to Reil station. The fantastic panoramic view from the Marienburg / from the
Prinzenkopf observation tower, one of the most striking points on the Moselle, makes the railway landscape appear like a 'Märklin toy land'.

With a height of 380 meters and a slope of around 65 degrees, the Calmont between Bremm and Ediger-Eller on the Moselle is the steepest vineyard in Europe.
A particularly good Riesling grows on its steep slate slopes, and the winemakers have been able to rely on their muscle power for centuries, because machines are not used on the steep slope.
A via ferrata leads through the vineyard via narrow paths and ladders,
from which a magnificent panorama is offered.
