About Us

Welcome to Wald Villa Üssbach. Wald Villa Üssbach is a charming and historic retreat, originally built around 1870. Today, the villa beautifully combines its traditional character with modern comfort. After serving various purposes – including a guest and seminar house – the building was completely and carefully renovated in 2012. The villa now offers seven tastefully furnished holiday apartments, providing a relaxed and comfortable escape from everyday life. Bright interiors, modern amenities and the unique atmosphere of the historic villa ensure you feel at home from the very first moment.

Since July 2025, we – Mark and Hermien van der Stelt – have been the proud owners of Wald Villa Üssbach. Born in the Netherlands, we lived in the Black Forest from early 2008 until July 2025, where we ran a Pension Garni with great joy and dedication. We are delighted to bring our experience and passion for hospitality to Wald Villa Üssbach and look forward to welcoming you personally.

A true highlight is our beautiful garden: shaded by an impressive, around 100-year-old fir tree and located directly alongside the gently flowing Üssbach stream. It is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
